The BFHG maintains a number of large datasets containing many thousands of records. These are mainly Parish records (Birth, Marriage, Death etc), but also some miscellaneous others, such as Census returns (dating back to 1841), Apprenticeship Indentures, Passenger Lists and Wills.

We ask you to bear in mind that these datasets were created a long time ago, in the early days of home computing. They were never intended to be accessed via the Internet, which has taken a long time using a bespoke solution. The result is a combination of clunky and quirky! We just hope you can live with that because this is a unique resource that we are sure you will find useful (once you get used to it).

Access to these datasets is restricted to Group members, i.e. people that have registered on the Website.
