The following table shows the status of the BFHG Record Collection as regards conversion (from Custodian), following removal of a number of entries in accordance with our privacy policies. The task is now largely complete with only datasets of very minimal value or with possible copyright issues being omitted. BFHG members have unrestricted online access to all the datasets. A Name Index is also available with some 56,000 records to assist with finding individual source records. 

Please Note: This table is now out of date due to additions (mainly to the Parish Baptism, Marriage and Burial datasets) following the Herefordshire 'gap-filling' exercise. However, it offers a view of the extent and size of the Collection.

N.B. Entries marked 'Ext' in purple coloured text represent the smallest datasets which have not warranted the effort of full conversion, or where (e.g.) the information is unsuitable for displaying in the standard tabular format necessary for ensuring the large datasets are index-linked and fully searchable. These smaller datasets are therefore in differing, more suitable, formats. In some cases they are in PDF format (free reader 'Apps' are available for most platforms), in other cases they are in a basic HTML format, with the advantage that this format 'stretches' the information to extend to the edges of your Browser screen. These are accessible by clicking on the relevant filename shown in the Name Index record.
